Japan signs procurement deal for mass production of 3D-printed Terra B1 interceptor drones

Japan’s Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics Agency signed a mass-production procurement agreement for 3D-printed Terra B1 rocket-launched interceptor drones, aiming to rapidly field a large unmanned fleet by 2027. The selection followed a demonstration with the Maritime Self-Defense Forces and is intended to counter one-way attack drones and loitering munitions.
