Belgian rMCM vessel M943 Liège launched as program advances toward unmanned mine countermeasures deployment

Belgium launched the mine countermeasures vessel M943 Liège on May 5 and conducted the first steel cut for M945 Rochefort under the Belgian-Dutch rMCM program. The ships are designed to deploy unmanned surface, underwater, and aerial systems for stand-off mine countermeasures after acceptance trials and system integration.
