F-22 pilot issues in-flight commands to YFQ-44A Fury CCA drone in airborne tactical-control test
The U.S. Air Force and Anduril reported a first-of-its-kind demonstration in which an F-22 pilot sent tactical directives and an updated mission plan to a pre-production YFQ-44A Fury CCA drone while airborne. The test occurred earlier in the month of publication and involved the aircraft taking off from Edwards AFB and linking up midair.
