France outlines plans for Deluge drone munitions and disposable-drone strike concepts after FCAS collapse
France’s Air and Space Force chief said the service will receive MBDA’s Deluge long-range one-way munition in summer 2027 and is experimenting with interceptor drones. He also described a future strike concept using large numbers of disposable drones to overwhelm enemy air defenses, followed by reusable expendable drones enabling deep strikes.
