HUR unit FERRATA used Katran unmanned platforms carrying interceptor drones to help defend Kyiv

Ukraine's Defence Intelligence (HUR) unit FERRATA reported a joint operation with the Air Force and other forces to protect Kyiv's airspace. In September 2026 it used Katran unmanned carrier platforms equipped with interceptor drones and radar reconnaissance equipment, including coordination with F-16 crews.
