Hyperion unveils Astra 460 uncrewed surface vessel and TitanCell containerized 3D-printing system at IODS 2026
Hyperion Systems presented the 3D-printed-hull Astra 460 uncrewed surface vessel (USV) and its TitanCell containerized 3D-printing “factory-in-a-box” at IODS 2026 in Perth. The company said an undisclosed European navy will evaluate an 8-meter Astra variant at a maritime exercise later in 2026, and Hyperion plans sea trials of the Astra 460 before the end of May.
