Iran launches drones and missiles at US Navy ships in Strait of Hormuz; US strikes Iranian launch sites

U.S. Central Command said Iran launched missiles, drones and small boats at three U.S. Navy destroyers transiting the Strait of Hormuz toward the Gulf of Oman. The U.S. responded with strikes on Iranian missile- and drone-launch sites and related command-and-control and ISR locations; no U.S. vessels were hit.
