NORTHCOM deputy says U.S. lacks sensors and effectors to stop a homeland drone swarm attack

NORTHCOM Deputy Commander Lt. Gen. Joseph Jarrard said the U.S. is currently ill-equipped to defend against a drone-swarm attack originating inside the homeland, citing gaps in detection and defeat capabilities. He described efforts to adapt air-defense tactics from Operation Noble Eagle and improve interoperability with federal and local partners for counter-UAS missions.
