Palermo prosecutor says Italian mafia seeks to buy combat drones and drone-dropped munitions on black market

Palermo chief prosecutor Maurizio de Lucia said Italian mafia groups are increasingly interested in modern weapons circulating illegally, including attempts to acquire combat drones and munitions intended for dropping from UAVs. Italian law enforcement reportedly discovered a shipment of weapons that entered Italy from the Balkans.
