Report claims Pentagon to create Autonomous Warfare Command (AutoWarCom) for drones and unmanned systems

A Russian milblog post claims the US Department of Defense announced creation of a new four-star Autonomous Warfare Command (AutoWarCom) to unify UAVs, unmanned maritime/ground systems, EW and counter-UAS efforts. The post says the initiative is driven by lessons from the war in Ukraine and targets faster procurement and mass production of cheaper expendable drones, with a planned full launch by 1 Oct 2027.
