Rheinmetall and Deutsche Telekom plan telecom-based counter-drone shield deployment in Germany

A Telegram post claims Rheinmetall and Deutsche Telekom will deploy a counter-drone “Drohnen-Schutzschild” using sensors on mobile towers and software to detect drone-control anomalies in 5G networks. It also describes interceptor-drone containers, lasers, automated turrets, and electronic warfare systems near critical sites, and references a similar Orange project in France.
