Romania reports UAV shot down after airspace violation; debris fell between Băleni and Cudalbi

Romania’s Defense Ministry said a UAV that violated Romanian airspace was shot down by a Spanish NATO F-18 on air-policing duty. The drone reportedly approached from the direction of Moldova and debris fell in an uninhabited area between Băleni and Cudalbi; a NATO spokesperson alleged it was Russian.
