Royal Navy-backed trials airdrop Kraken K3 SCOUT uncrewed surface vessel from A400M

Kraken Technology Group and Capewell, supported by the Royal Navy’s Project Beehive, conducted trials airdropping a K3 SCOUT uncrewed surface vessel from an A400M using the UMCADS parachute delivery system. The tests validated multiple live airdrops and an electro-mechanical IN-Release mechanism for rapid maritime insertion.
