Russian official warns Ukraine may launch up to 1,000 drones per day by autumn, calling for new air-defense approaches

A Russian state adviser said Ukraine could be capable of launching up to 1,000 drones per day by autumn and argued Russia cannot match that with interceptor missile production. He said existing air-defense systems were not designed for sustained waves of cheap drones and called for new technologies such as lasers and improved interception systems.
