Taiwan audit finds major delays and capability gaps in air force counter-drone program

Taiwan’s National Audit Office reported that the air force counter-UAV system program is behind schedule and lacks capability against drones using 5.1 GHz links and BeiDou-3 signals. The audit also cites insufficient means against fiber-optic controlled and AI-enabled drones, with full operational testing not yet completed due to delays in construction and procurement.
