Ukraine explores using naval drones for policing missions to detain sanctioned ships in the Black Sea

A Ukrainian military intelligence (HUR) commander said Ukraine is developing a new system for naval drones to conduct policing-style missions in the Black Sea, aiming to detain and escort sanctioned vessels to port rather than sink them. The proposed concept includes drones securing ship decks, temporarily detaining crews, and other drones controlling airspace during operations, with escalation options if orders are ignored.
