Ukraine reports large-scale Russian drone and missile attack overnight 26–27 Aug

Ukraine's General Staff reported that Russia launched a combined attack including 258 strike UAVs (Shahed-type and others) and missiles overnight 26–27 August. Ukrainian air defenses said they shot down/suppressed 222 enemy UAVs and reported impacts at 15 locations with debris falling at 11 locations; the attack was ongoing at the time of the update.
