Ukraine reports overnight attack with Shahed-type UAVs and Iskander-M missiles; 72 drones downed/suppressed

Ukraine's General Staff reported that from 18:00 on 8 July into the night of 9 July, Russia attacked with 94 strike UAVs (Shahed-type and others) and two Iskander-M ballistic missiles. Ukrainian air defenses said 72 UAVs were shot down or suppressed, with impacts reported at 13 locations and debris falls at 4 locations; the attack was ongoing at the time of the update.
