Ukraine reports overnight strikes on Saratov refinery, Engels airbase, and fuel depot in Kaluga region
Ukraine’s General Staff claims that on the night of 2 Aug 2026 its forces struck the Saratov oil refinery in Saratov, the Engels airbase in Saratov Oblast, and the Lyudinovskaya fuel depot in Lyudinovo, Kaluga Oblast, causing fires. It also reported strikes on a site for storage/prep/launch of strike UAVs near Navlya (Bryansk Oblast) and on UAV control points in several locations on 1 Aug.
