Ukraine reports repelling overnight attack by 67 Shahed-type drones; 56 downed or suppressed

Ukraine’s Air Force reported that Russia launched 67 attack UAVs (including Shahed-type and other models) overnight into 8 May, with 56 drones downed or suppressed by air defenses. It said 11 drones hit targets at 8 locations and debris fell at 7 locations, mainly in southern and eastern Ukraine.
