Ukraine reports Russian drone attack with 181 UAVs; 163 shot down or suppressed

Ukraine's General Staff reported that Russia launched 181 attack UAVs (including Shahed-type and decoys) overnight 2–3 Aug 2026 from multiple directions. Air defenses reportedly shot down or suppressed 163 drones, with 14 impacts across 13 locations and debris falls at 2 locations; the attack was ongoing at the time of the update.
