Ukraine reports Russian drone attack with 229 UAVs; 212 shot down or suppressed

Ukraine's General Staff reported that Russia launched 229 attack UAVs (including Shahed-type and decoys) overnight into 31 May. Ukrainian air defenses said 212 drones were shot down or suppressed, with 14 impacts recorded across 11 locations and debris falling in 5 locations; the attack was ongoing at the time of the report.
