Ukraine reports strikes on two Russian refineries and drone-control relay sites in Kherson Oblast and Crimea
Ukraine's General Staff reported strikes on the Slavneft-YANOS refinery in Yaroslavl overnight on 6 Aug 2026 and the Bashneft-Novoil refinery in Ufa on 5 Aug 2026, both followed by fires. It also claimed two ground relay stations used to control Geran/Herbera strike UAVs were hit near Zaliznyi Port (Kherson Oblast) and Olenivka (Crimea).
