US Army Pacific forms new command to field massed drone and AI-enabled C2 concepts for Pacific operations

U.S. Army Pacific announced the creation of the 7th Infantry Division Multi-Domain Command – Pacific to speed reaction times and sustain operations in contested Pacific environments. Leaders described plans to overwhelm adversaries with large volumes of drones, including decoys, electronic-warfare drones, and long-range one-way attack systems enabled by AI-driven command and control.
