U.S. Navy seeks special mission vessel to support SOUTHCOM operations with unmanned air and surface systems

The U.S. Navy issued an RFI for a multi-mission maritime security “mothership” to launch, recover, and support manned and unmanned air and surface platforms for SOUTHCOM maritime security operations. The vessel is intended for command and control, surveillance, and interdiction missions across the Eastern Pacific and Southern Caribbean.
