U.S. Navy to train expeditionary mine countermeasures using Mk 18 Mod 2 Kingfish unmanned undersea vehicles off San Diego

U.S. Navy EODTEU1 plans new training to enable expeditionary mine countermeasure companies to operate from vessels of opportunity, including commercial ships. The training is scheduled June 7–12 off San Diego and will employ Mk 18 Mod 2 Kingfish unmanned undersea vehicles for mine-hunting tasks.
