US service member killed during controlled detonation of ordnance from downed Iranian attack drone in northern Iraq

U.S. Central Command said a U.S. service member was killed in northern Iraq during a controlled detonation of unexploded ordnance from a downed Iranian one-way attack drone. The statement was released Sunday, following other reported U.S. casualties from an Iran-linked missile and drone attack in Jordan.
