Anduril to build Virginia-class submarine components at new Baltimore plant

Anduril is establishing a large new facility (Arsenal-2) to manufacture critical Virginia-class submarine components (e.g., torpedo tubes, air flasks) and potentially larger ship sections, aiming to relieve supplier/shipyard bottlenecks. While not a frontline weapon change, it is a notable defense-industrial scaling approach intended to increase submarine production throughput and reduce delays—an important enabler of naval warfighting capacity.
