China builds dispersed launch-pad network near nuclear ICBM silo fields

Satellite imagery indicates China is constructing a large network of hardened pads, bunkers, comms nodes and possible EW/SATCOM facilities near its ICBM silo fields, likely to support mobile missile launchers and air-defense. The novelty is the scale and integration of dispersed launch sites with command/comms infrastructure to improve survivability and second-strike capability against a first strike.
