General Atomics partners with Spirit Defense to scale FQ-42 CCA production

General Atomics is bringing in Boeing subsidiary Spirit Defense as a fuselage design-build partner to accelerate and de-risk mass production of the FQ-42A Vengeance Collaborative Combat Aircraft. The novelty is the explicit industrial scaling approach (additive manufacturing, robotics, second-source capacity) aimed at reaching a 500-CCA inventory goal by 2032, improving production resilience and reducing single points of failure.
