Germany is expanding its Arrow-3 ballistic-missile defense architecture with a second operational site (“Einsatzstellung Süd”) in Bavaria, adding a dedicated radar location and separate launcher area. While Arrow-3 itself is not new, this is a notable new deployment step: multi-site, exoatmospheric (100+ km) intercept capability being fielded in Europe to protect population, infrastructure, and NATO logistics hubs.
