Kuwait to equip Al Dorra-class boats with Rheinmetall MASS decoy launchers

Kuwait is procuring Rheinmetall’s MASS softkill decoy launcher system for the first time, integrating it on eight Al Dorra-class guided-missile boats. The order includes Omnitrap-ER decoy ammunition, a newer extended-range variant intended to better counter modern imaging radar and IR-guided threats, improving ship survivability against anti-ship missiles and precision-guided weapons.
