LBA Systems revealed the Astore Levante, a TB3-derived shipborne UCAV integrating Leonardo sensors/EW/ESM payload options and autonomous shipboard launch/recovery, with production underway in Italy for delivery to an Italian end-user in 2026. The novelty is the near-term fielding of a modular European-produced carrier-capable drone package (ISR/strike/EW/ASW support) intended for operation from Italian flat-tops like Cavour, expanding practical naval UCAV doctrine beyond trials.
