Lockheed unveils PAC-3 Edge interceptor with multi-pulse motor and higher agility

Lockheed Martin introduced the PAC-3 Edge, a new PAC-3 family interceptor variant with increased diameter/length for greater range and altitude plus additional attitude-control motors for higher endgame maneuverability. It also adds a Northrop-designed multi-pulse (three-pulse) rocket motor and is intended to integrate with IBCS and multiple launcher types (M903, containerized launchers, and HIMARS FLEX), potentially expanding deployment options for air/missile defense.
