Near-complete DPRK–Russia road bridge could expand munitions logistics

Satellite imagery indicates the first road bridge between North Korea and Russia across the Tumen River is close to completion, with border-control infrastructure on the DPRK side already built. If opened, it could bypass a rail transloading bottleneck at Tumangang and enable higher-throughput truck-based movement of goods, potentially including munitions, altering sustainment routes supporting Russia’s war effort.
