Plan to launch Castelion Blackbeard hypersonic from Saronic Marauder MUSV

Saronic and Castelion plan a first-of-its-kind integration to launch Castelion’s Blackbeard hypersonic vehicle from Saronic’s unmanned surface vessel Marauder, targeting an at-sea demo in 2027. If realized, it would distribute hypersonic strike across lower-cost unmanned maritime platforms, increasing launch-location ambiguity and magazine depth versus relying on scarce crewed ships/submarines.
