Rostec claims newly delivered BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles include additional all-aspect protection (including roof), improved mine/blast protection for the belly, and increased fragmentation resistance front and rear. The batch is also said to feature an upgraded onboard electronic warfare suite, reflecting iterative frontline-driven upgrades rather than a baseline BMP-3 delivery.
