Russian USV program relied on Starlink; tested mesh and UAV-relay comms

Post claims Russia developed multiple unmanned surface vessel (USV/BEC) models and planned mass use, but early-2026 Starlink shutdown disrupted their primary control link. It describes Russian fallback comms experiments: a short-range coastal mesh radio system ('Pavutyna' ~30 km), GEO-sat terminals that fail under motion/latency, and UAV-relay control links using ZALA/Aeroscan (2.1–2.7 GHz) or 3D Link/PLAZ with Geoscan relays (1.1–1.4 GHz), which are vulnerable to detection and EW jamming due to RF emissions.
