Sikorsky modular swappable nose for H-60 Black Hawk to enable rapid re-role

Sikorsky plans a new modular, retrofittable H-60 nose with roughly double the internal volume and improved access/cooling, intended to let operators quickly reconfigure Black Hawks for different missions by swapping sensor/comms and other mission kits. The open-architecture nose is positioned as an enabler for faster integration of new avionics, ISR packages, and potentially autonomous capabilities, improving multi-mission flexibility and sustainment logistics across existing fleets.
