South Korea tests domestically developed hypersonic boost-glide vehicle

South Korea released imagery from its first successful test of a domestically developed hypersonic boost-glide vehicle (HGV), including launch from a TEL and end-of-flight impact. The novelty is the apparent validation of core HGV technologies (high-temp materials, guidance/control, low-altitude maneuvering) that could enable a new, hard-to-intercept strike capability against time-sensitive targets.
