Swarm Aero introduced the Group 5 UAS “Gamera,” pitched as a low-cost, mass-producible alternative to MQ-9 with very large payload capacity and the ability to carry bomber-class munitions (e.g., LRASM, JASSM-ER) that MQ-9 cannot. The novelty is the combination of long range and heavy strike-missile carriage in a cheaper, attritable unmanned platform aligned with the USAF’s Massed Modular Aircraft concept.
