Taiwan unveils Clouded Leopard-based 105mm 8×8 mobile gun system

Taiwan publicly demonstrated a domestically developed 105mm direct-fire support variant of the Clouded Leopard 8×8, showing live-fire against moving/stationary targets and improved mobility changes (reduced height, tighter turning radius via six-wheel steering). The system is tailored for Taiwan’s restrictive terrain and rapid road-network repositioning, and leverages 105mm ammo commonality with existing M60A3/CM11 tanks while enabling specialized rounds.
