Tethered DroneBox integrated on DriX USV for persistent aerial ISR

Elistair and Exail integrated the Khronos automated tethered DroneBox onto Exail’s DriX unmanned surface vessel, enabling a deck-launched tethered UAV to provide up to 24 hours of continuous overhead surveillance while the USV is underway. The tether provides power and a secure data link for encrypted live video, extending the sensor horizon beyond surface radar/cameras and supporting operations in contested or GNSS-denied environments. This is a notable maritime ISR configuration combining long-endurance USV patrol with persistent aerial overwatch without crew at sea.
