Ukrainian F-16s reportedly armed with APKWS II rockets for drone/cruise defense

The post notes Ukrainian F-16s have apparently been carrying laser-guided 70mm APKWS II rockets, a lower-cost air-to-air option for engaging drones and subsonic cruise missiles compared to AIM-9/AIM-120. If fielded at scale, this represents an adaptation of a relatively inexpensive precision rocket as an air-defense effector to conserve scarce AAM stocks and increase sortie efficiency against mass drone attacks.
