Ukrainian firms develop jet-capable interceptor drones for Russian jet UAVs

Ukrainian companies (General Cherry, Grim Tech, BlueBird Tech) are developing faster interceptor UAV variants—some jet-powered or booster-assisted—aimed at defeating Russia’s newer jet-powered strike drones. The novelty is the shift to higher-speed, heat-resistant airframes and cost-optimized mass production so interceptors remain cheaper than the targets.
