US Navy creates center to field and integrate autonomous combat systems

The US Navy stood up the Robot and Autonomous Systems Warfighting Development Center to train sailors, develop tactics/command frameworks, and stress-test autonomous systems under degraded communications before fleet-wide deployment. This is a doctrinal and force-integration innovation aimed at turning prototypes into reliable combat power via standardized training, concepts of employment, and an iterative “field, employ, learn, improve, scale” cycle.
