U.S. Navy explores containerized and new VLS launch options for CPS hypersonic

The U.S. Navy is soliciting concepts to launch Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) hypersonic missiles via novel, flexible deployment methods including containerized launchers, air-transportable launchers, and modified/integrated large VLS for surface and undersea platforms. This would broaden where CPS can be fielded (including dispersed and austere locations) and potentially enable higher-volume deployment beyond Zumwalt/Virginia integration.
