USAF seeks expendable target drones to mimic stealth jets, bombers, and UAV swarms

The U.S. Air Force issued an RFI for a new family of attritable/expendable aerial target drones able to replicate a wide spectrum of threats, including stealth-fighter signatures, large aircraft, and small-drone swarms. Novelty is the push for realistic multi-spectral signatures (RCS/IR/RF emissions) and integrated electronic-attack effects at much lower cost and higher producibility than legacy targets like QF-16 conversions, leveraging commercial/dual-use solutions.
