Russia enables private firms to procure air-defense gear for anti-UAV units

The post describes a new procurement/regulatory mechanism allowing private companies to fund purchases of heavy weapons and sensors (AA guns, turrets, special vehicles, radars) to counter drone attacks, expanding mobile fire groups. Although the equipment will be formally held by military units, the change could speed fielding of counter-UAV kits and enable industry to produce items the MoD has not prioritized.
